"What is a static website? It’s a surprisingly nuanced question". This quote from Mike Neumegen's article stuck with me because it is a discussion I've been having quite a lot lately. Zach's article on Eleventy Serverless is a perfect example of how that line is blurrier than you'd expect. Eleventy is what some folks call a "traditional SSG" (compared to things like Next.js, for instance) and yet it's going to support DPR and SSR, which sounds very un-traditional to me. It seems the definition of a static website is somewhat fluid.
